Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

Slow Week Here

We don’t have much to report here in the heat land or is that the heart land. For now we’ll call it the heat land.

Only worked two days this week because of the holiday last week,Angela spent her time cleaning up the motor home after our trip last week.

We can’t wait tell it cools off so we can hit more state parks here in our area,we have about 5 or 6 within 100 miles or so.

I guess the high light of our week is the grandkids came over for the weekend.

Guess we will just keep reading blogs from the lucky ones that our in cooler location.

Hope everyone has a good week and safe travel’s and take care of each other.

I've been seeing the temps out there in the heartland. Whew! Will no doubt be moving east and we are in line for it.

For us the weather is pretty much perfect, even if it was baking hot we still won't complain because we have had such a miserable spring and have only just started seeing summer.

It's always nice to see the grandkids and I am sure they enjoyed their time with you.
