Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Cabernet in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

Living Off The Grid

We have been living off the grid since November and loving it. We have all the comforts of home, its cheap and we are not stacked in like cord wood next to each other. We can sit out doors and be alone if we want or visit the neighbors close by.

Taking the honey wagon out to dump every 7 days..

Another Year Has Come And Gone

Sunday was my birthday I turned a young 62. We spent the day at the Desert Bar  http://www.thedesertbar.com/ with our friends Rob and Cindy. The bar is a neat place to see it's all solar powered. The only bad part is getting there it's a pretty rough road for 5 miles at 10 mph. The place was packed when we arrived about 12:30. The pictures can tell the rest.

The road to get there..

The best way to get there..
